Exam success again for Andie Derry!

Andie Derry, from our Kettering client support team, has recently passed her Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) exam RO2.

The R02 exam involves learning about investment principles and risks. This included the characteristics, risks, behaviours and tax considerations of cash investments, fixed interest securities, property, equities, and indirect investments. Andie also learnt about the time value of money, the impact of the macro-economic environment and the different investment theories.

Andie Derry after hearing that she had passed her exam said-

“This was quite a difficult exam for me as it covered a lot of content, but it was amazing to see the hard work pay off when I found out I had passed. I’m ready to start studying for my next exam and being one step closer to passing my apprenticeship”

Andie’s studying involved six, two-hour online sessions and then lots of additional revision and reading. Also, she was supported with online sessions that were hosted by one of her tutors. Additionally, she had the support of her apprenticeship assessor.

Jane Lumley-Walker, Office Manager, said-

“Andie has worked very hard to achieve the R02 exam and should be proud of her success. I am certainly very proud of her achievements! Roll on R03!”

Andie’s aim is to finish her apprenticeship to a high level and with the next step being exam R03 which covers the different types of taxation.
