Charity Golf Day raises over £5,000.

I would like to extend a huge thank you to all of you who supported our recent golf day. The weather was kind to us again, and I was pleased to see so many people. For those who missed the announcements at the end of the day:

The winners were Varney Barfield Accountants.
Nearest the pin 4th hole – Steve Phillips
Longest ladies drive – Evonne Birch
Longest men’s drive – Andrew Rockey

Several people managed to beat the pro ….. and thanks to all of those that didn’t, as we raised £160 from this.

Wellingborough Golf Club for allowing us to host the event– the greenkeepers do a fantastic job, and the course was in wonderful condition. The starters and the Pro, plus of course, the catering team and ladies in the tea hut!
