Apprenticeship success for Amelia!

By Amelia Blake, Client Support with Anstee & Co.

I started at Anstee & Co. in June 2022, straight from school. I joined the company to complete a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship. I chose to do this because I had an interest in the financial world and I felt that the apprenticeship would allow me to gain experience in the working environment, whilst also earning a qualification.

I had to adapt to working in a professional office environment with different people of different ages. This was new to me, but I fitted in well with the team and felt like I got along with everyone. Being in the office every day, allows for good communication between the staff and for professional but friendly relationships to be made, making the atmosphere a pleasant place to work.

The Apprenticeship.

During my apprenticeship, I had to spend 80% of my time as a financial administrator for the company, providing support to the clients, and the other 20% of the time doing my apprentice work. I had to learn to balance the two, and the company were very supportive of this, giving me the time that I needed. Looking back, I think the balance worked well and I really enjoyed the mixture of both.

I worked hard throughout the duration, which was proven by my results. This helped me to  achieve a “Distinction” grade in all three components of my assessments, which I am very proud of.

I am looking forward to continuing my journey within the industry and within Anstee & Co., with the hopes of completing further financial exams next year.

Finally, I would just like to thank everyone who helped me throughout, giving me the support I needed.

How Anstee & Co can help you.
