Charity Cheque presentationThis year’s Charity Golf Day raised £3,558 for Nene Valley Community First Responders. This annual event is now in its 7th year and was successfully held at Wellingborough Golf Club. The charity each year is chosen by the staff at Anstee & Co. and the presentation was made by Caroline Anstee.

Caroline Anstee, Managing Director of Anstee & Co. said-

“I just want to say a huge thank you to all of you who supported our golf day. We have only been able to raise this amount due to the generous support of the participants and sponsors of the event. As most of you know these events don’t just happen, so a big thank-you to the team for the expert planning behind the scenes to ensure such a fantastic, organised day. Also, to my sister and brother-in-law who come to help each year with the scoring, it is much appreciated.”

About Nene Valley Community First Responders.

Community First Responders are part of a scheme founded and run by volunteers who give up their spare time to attend appropriate emergency calls in their community. Also, they are dispatched by the East Midlands Ambulance Service Emergency Operations Centre.

The volunteer responders give their time for operations and training freely and the money that they use for our day-to-day running costs, as well as the purchase of equipment and uniforms, is raised through fundraising events, and public and private donations.
