Congratulations to Andie Derry, part of the client support team based at the Kettering office of Anstee & Co. Andie has recently completed and passed the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) RO1 Financial Services, Regulations and Ethics exam.
- The RO1 exam tested her knowledge of –
- Role of financial services
- EU & UK Regulation and responsibilities in financial services,
- Rules and principles for a regulatory framework
- Regulatory advice framework
- How regulations and principles promote ethical outcomes
- Code of ethics and professional standards
- How the retail customer is served
What did Andie think about the exam?
“Remembering the different rules and regulations was by far the most challenging but worth it when I passed. Learning how the whole financial services system works proved the most interesting.”
Andie is not resting on her recent success and has started studying for her next exam, R02, covering Investment Principles and Risk which she is planning to take in March 2021.
Jane Lumley Walker, Office Manager at Anstee & Co. said: –
“Having successfully completed a Business Administration Apprenticeship, Andie was keen to keep learning! We, therefore, decided the best way forward was to undertake another apprenticeship in order to achieve a paraplanning qualification. Andie has used the knowledge and experience she has gained during her time at Anstee & Co to aid her learning.”
“Having received very positive feedback from her tutor for essays submitted it was no surprise that Andie passed her R01 exam. Well done and keep up the good work!”
