I’m a member of several networking groups. They provide the opportunity to work together on shared clients and offer support. Each group has a charity member and Cransley Hospice are the charity for the Wellingborough Business Room.
In support of our charity, 10 of our members (including me) have formed a choir. We have six weeks to rehearse a song from a West End musical, with three sessions with a vocal coach and will then be performing at the Corby Cube on 3rd March in a competition! Whilst three of our members are in choirs and another two can hold a decent tune, the other half of the group are complete novices (I’m in that group). However, things are coming into shape and I don’t think we sound too bad! We’ll just have to hope that it’ll be ‘Alright on the Night’.
