charity golf dayAnstee & Co.’s second Charity Golf Day was held at Wellingborough Golf Club, Great Harrowden, Northamptonshire.
The event was well supported with 14 teams enjoying the golf and weather at this stately parkland course.  The course was in a top rate condition so this could not be used as an excuse.
Caroline Anstee, Managing Director of Anstee & Co said-
“A big thank you to all the people that sponsored holes, gave generously with raffle prizes and attended. Without your support the day would not have been successful. We will build on this success and look to raise more money for local charities.”
The event raised over £1,400 for Crazy Hats, a breast cancer care charity based in Wellingborough.
Glennis Hooper, from the charity, spoke about the work that they undertake and thanked everyone for their support.
The winning team, “Lynn’s Boys “made up of Stuart and Aaron Page, Adrian Preedy and Richard Rice narrowly beat the joint runners up from W J Redden & Sons and Varney Barfield Accountants.
Stuart, from the winning team said-
“We came close last year but it’s great that we won it this year. It’s an enjoyable event and raises money for a worthy cause. We will be back next year to defend our title”.
